Durian feast

After a tired day of cleaning up the restaurant, preparing for the APMEA ( Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa ) region visitors on the 7th, what better way ending the day by indulging ourselves with Durians courtesy of Musa, the Store Manager of the newly opened McDonald's Bukit Rahman Putra. Bring on more Durians Musa and you'll have your restaurant sparkling clean! Haha!

Back to school

Back to school or shall i say back to college again after more than 10 years. We were the lucky 20 people who were chosen out of the many applications from McDonald's Malaysia Store Managers, to enroll for the Executive Diploma in Business Management in HELP University College.

The youngest amongst us is a 28 year old and the oldest is a 44 year old. Well age is definately not a barrier for anyone who wants to continue to study and gain more knowledge. As most of us has worked for McDonald's for more than 10 years, we definately have the experiece in some way or another to help us in this course.

We have the priviledge to have a class for ourselves and we also have coffee breaks prepared for us, once in the morning and the other in the evening specially for us McDonald's students. Not bad huh??

But I can honestly tell you that it's no easy task working & studying at the same time. We really have to manage our time wisely between work & studies. Classes is just once a week, which means they are "squeezing" many, many topics into one day. If everything works out well, we'll be graduating in April 2010. : )
